Deluxe Hamburgers

Sudbury is a One Arch Town! Chicken on a bun dinner is a separate food group. Buy the sauce mix! Not exactly, but so darn close.. It's really good...

I work next door and grab food from here all the time. Always friendly and the food is always great. One of the cheapest places in Sudbury for burgers in my opinion, I usually get a whole meal for 9-15 dollars.

Great old school restaurant, seems like it hasn’t changed what’s been working since it opened. Prices very reasonable, food was good, servings were reasonable, though expect to eat more than one regular burger if you’re hungry. While I was in ordering, a customer was talking about working here when she was a young woman in the 60’s. Great food, Great atmosphere, I highly recommend it over the Double arches across the road.

These types of places are hard to come by nowadays as it felt like I was stepping back in time once I stepped through the door. A young crew of employees hold down the fort, as they turn around orders fairly quick. I ordered myself a single burger and an order of fish and chips. Fish came with a bun on the side so it became a sandwich. Tartar was packaged but the gravy seemed like their own recipe (similar to St Hubert’s). Next time I’ll try the chicken if I’m in town.

This restaurant is what McDonalds wishes it was, but with rotisserie chicken as a bonus! My dinner was delicious, filling, and affordable. I love that it came with sauce to dip the fries and my Chicken sandwich.

I came here with my girlfriend and the place locked doors a bit early due to maintenance and weren’t mad at all we were still there, staff were kind and even let us order some more food before we hit the road. Overall a great place to eat, classic diner style and great employees. Loved every bit of it!

The burger and fries were excellent. This place is a time capsule. I felt like it was 1974. What a great find while in Sudbury. They have a dipping sauce that is kind of like Swiss Chalet sauce. It is really unique. Prices are competitive. I'll be back for sure.

I tried this establishment for breakfast for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. It serves a niche in the local restaurant industry, providing simple hearty food in a casual self serve diner experience using disposable plates and cutlery on plastic trays. My ratings are based on my view of how well the business fulfills its niche. Much like a Kia and Ferrari are very different vehicles with vastly dissimilar purposes and clientele, so is Deluxe and Cora's, for example. The food was freshly prepared, my eggs over easy oozed yellow goodness when cut into. The home fries were in the shape of fries but had that delicious home fries taste. I received 2 pieces of toast and 3 decent sized sausage links in my meal. The total cost of the meal, including tax, was 7.50. A never-ending cup of coffee is an additional 1.70. The counter staff were friendly, energetic, and diligent. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 11 AM daily. The environment is relaxed, clean, casual, and filled mostly with diners in the mature age groups. Note that tip is optional due to the self serve business model. As a value proposition in the Sudbury diner , Deluxe sits atop the food chain (pun intended); explaining my 5* ratings.
